What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee and supervise cleaning operations across the MFC plant, ensuring cleaning and hygiene tasks are completed safely, efficientlyand inline with QA requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating daily cleaningactivities,schedulesand records to meet QA and operationalrequirements.
- Liaising with Production, QC/QA,inventory,procurementand cleaning team members to ensure cleaningpriorities are achieved.
- Ensuring cleaning products, chemicals and equipmentare available, safely used,maintainedand appropriatelystored.
- Supervising,trainingand supportingcleaning team members in SOPs, safetyrequirementsand effectivecleaning practices.




- Overseeing machinery,equipmentandpacking linecleaningso work is completed correctly, safely and ontime.
- Identifyingand communicating faultyequipment, packing lineissuesor material requirements totheappropriate team.
- Maintaining chemical stock levels, coordinatingorderingrequirementsand managing chemical drum recyclingprocesses.
- Completing cleaning records daily andsupportingaccuratepaperwork,timesand compliancerecords.
- Ensuring end-of-shift site security requirementsare completed, including lights, doors, alarms and gates as required.
- Contributing tocontinuous improvement andcompleting other duties in consultation with management.

What you’ll bring

Weare looking for a safety-focused,organisedand practical supervisorwho can lead a small team, work collaboratively acrossthesiteandmaintainhigh cleaning and hygiene standards.You will bring:

- Previousexperiencein a cleaning, hygiene,productionor food manufacturing setting,ideally in a supervisory role.
- Strongsafety mindset and understanding of WHS requirements in a food factoryenvironment.
- Forkliftlicenceandcurrent car driverlicence.
- Abilityto complete paperwork,cleaningrecordsand times accurately andneatly.
- Goodcommunicationskills with the confidence to liaise with staff,managers,suppliersand contractors.
- Strongtime management,planningandorganisationskills with theability to respond to changing priorities.
- Abilityto work safely, use initiative and problem-solve without closesupervision.
- Reasonablecomputer skills and the ability to use internal systems forordering,recordsand time management.
- Apractical understanding of cleaning chemicals, Safety Data Sheets,equipmentcareand safe cleaning methods.
- Apositive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic and willingness to supportthe broader operation.
