Position Overview: Alpha Mechanical Pty Ltd - Alpha Mechanical Group Pty Ltd is a dynamic and growing company specialising in HVAC solutions for residential and commercial projects. The company is committed to delivering high-quality service while maintaining strong relationships with clients across the industry. As an Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic at Alpha Mechanical Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for installing, testing, servicing and repairing airconditioning and refrigeration systems for residential and commercial HVAC projects.

This position requires strong technical ability, attention to safety and the ability to deliver reliable service to clients. Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Review drawings, specifications and work requirements to determine installation layouts, system requirements and job sequencing for residential and commercial HVAC projects.
- Install airconditioning and refrigeration systems, including split, ducted and commercial HVAC units, in accordance with project specifications and safety requirements.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread and install piping, ductwork, brackets, supports and system components required for HVAC installations.
- Install, test and repair components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches,



gauges and refrigerant lines.
- Diagnose faults in refrigerant circuits, electrical controls, mechanical components and system performance, and complete effective repairs.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, cleaning and performance checks to support reliable HVAC operation for clients.
- Commission new and repaired HVAC systems by testing operating pressures, airflow, temperature performance, controls and safety functions.
- Respond to service calls for residential and commercial clients, assess system issues and provide practical solutions that support quality service delivery.
- Liaise professionally with clients, builders, site managers and suppliers to coordinate installation and service work across project sites.
- Maintain service records, parts usage, tools and worksite documentation in line with company procedures, WHS requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Certificate III in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic
- Robust knowledge of HVAC installation, maintenance, fault-finding and repair procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and equipment specifications.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety, refrigerant handling and environmental compliance requirements.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, trades and project teams.

Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $80,000 - $85,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
