Tyree Transformers is a agile and growing manufacturer situated in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Located at Braemar near Mittagong, we design and manufacture transformers and associated electrical equipment for power utilities and industrial customers across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Tyree is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated team player with great technology skills to join our IT team. With strong problem‑solving skills and ability to support level 1 & 2 roles that will be client focused.

Essential Technology / Skills Required:

- At least 5 Years’ experience inICT Infrastructure role
- Demonstrated experience with Windows Server, Linux Server, Active Directory, M365 Hybrid setup, Windows Desktop, Group Policies, SharePoint
- Experience with LAN/WAN configuration and support including SDWAN, Firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPN’s and Wi‑Fi management.
- Experience in Managing a Multi‑Site Company Infrastructure environment.
- Demonstrated experience in project management involving multiple geographically dispersed stakeholders.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for users.
- Backup management, support and testing. (Veeam & Unitrends)
- Manage end user accounts,



permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices regarding privacy, security and regulatory compliance.
- PABX and VOIP support and configuration, Experience with Unifi Switch, WAP and camera management.
- Experience with VMware and HyperV virtualization, Windows Server 2019 – 2025.
- Ownership of local IT Systems Updates / Upgrades, Mentoring of Infrastructure team of 3.
- Exceptional English communication – proficient at writing documentation and explaining difficult technical concepts to non‑technical people.
- Automation and software installation scripting, utilising Kaseya RMM, AV and Endpoint backup system.
- Patching and security of servers, desktops.
- Willing to work on site in our office at Mittagong with occasional visits to Narellan and interstate sites.
- Assist in budgeting, responsible for purchasing and maintaining sufficient stock for known needs and requirements.

Also desirable, but not essential, is experience in:

- Manufacturing Equipment including PLC equipment.
- SQL Server experience in installation, configuration and optimization
