About the Role

Our Mt Kelly Operations (Lady Annie mine), located approximately 120km north-northwest of Mount Isa, has been an operational copper mine for over 10 years. We are currently seeking skilled and safety-focused Crushing Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the growing success of our processing operations.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Crushing Maintenance Superintendent, you will work as part of the Crushing Maintenance team to support safe, efficient and compliant plant operations. This role will see you coordinating daily start-up activities, including safety briefings, pre-start checks, task allocation and hazard identification, while ensuring site procedures, safety requirements and environmental controls are followed. You will also support team performance through inductions, coaching and skills development, conduct end‑of‑shift debriefs and handovers, and assist with project-specific tasks as directed by the Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow site procedures, safety requirements, and environmental controls.




- Work as part of a team to support safe and efficient plant operations.
- End‑of‑Shift: Debriefs and handovers.
- Undertake project‑specific tasks as appropriate and directed to you by the Superintendent.

What We Are Looking For

Key Requirements

- Ability to work in a physical, hands‑on crushing environment.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Communicates clearly and works well in a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow site procedures.
- Experience in the mining sector.
- Supervisory or leading‑hand experience.
- Understanding of obligations under the Queensland Mining and Quarrying Act and Queensland Mining and Quarrying regulations.

Highly regarded but not essential:

- Gantry or overhead crane ticket.
- HDPE Polly Butt welding, electrofusion or excursion welding experience.
- Site Safety Mining Supervisor Qualifications G1, G8, G9.
