Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel is seeking an experienced and passionate leader to oversee some of the hotel's most important guest touchpoints, including the Lobby Bar, In-Room Dining and Mini Bar.

This is a hand on leadership role responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving operational excellence, and developing a high performing team across multiple outlets. Working closely with the hotel leadership team, you will ensure consistency, profitability, and service standards are maintained while creating memorable experiences for guests and locals alike.

As part of a newly opened hotel, this is a fantastic opportunity to influence procedures, shape culture, and contribute to the ongoing success of one of the Sunshine Coast's most exciting hospitality destinations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of the Lobby Bar, In-Room Dining and Mini Bar.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high performing food and beverage team
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences across all outlets
- Drive service standards, operating procedures, and compliance requirements
- Manage rostering, labour productivity, and operational costs
- Monitor revenue opportunities and support business performance targets
- Work closely with the kitchen, hotel, and sales teams to deliver seamless guest experiences
- Support event delivery and ensure conference and event operations run successfully
- Maintain the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and brand standards

What We're Looking For

- Proven leadership experience in hotels, restaurants, bars, or multi-outlet hospitality operations
- A strong passion for guest experience and service excellence




- Experience leading, coaching, and developing diverse teams
- Solid organisational and time management skills
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of labour, revenue, and operational performance
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume environment
- A hands on leader who enjoys being visible and supporting the team during service
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid RSA and full Australian working rights
