Key Responsibilities:
The Level 2 Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public. The Security Officer must hold a current NSW Security Licence and possess the skills and professionalism required to effectively respond to security incidents while delivering a high level of customer service. Some of the duties are outlined, but not limited to,
- Conduct regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and designated areas.
- Verify identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and other security technology.
- Participate in emergency evacuations and critical incident management
- Maintain accurate records relating to site security activities.
- Complete shift handover reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Ensure Compliance with NSW Security Licensing and Enforcement Directorate (SLED) requirements.
- Be able to deliver high standards of customer services, actively participate and perform ad‑hoc security services.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Legal right to work in Australia.
- Current NSW Security Licence (Security Licence Class 1A & 1E) is a MUST
- Certificate II in Security Operations (CPP20218) or equivalent approved qualification.
- Current First Aid Certificate level 2 or equivalent.
- Current NSW Driver Licence
- Hold and maintain all required licences and certifications.
- Successful applicants will be required to complete pre‑employment screening, including identity verification and background checks.
- Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements.
