We are seeking a reliable and motivated Farmhand to join our avocado operations based across Tolga, Kairi and Yungaburra. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining productive orchard operations.

About the Role

This position involves a broad range of duties across our avocado farms, including:

- Lifting and loading up to 25kgs
- Operating tractors and conducting orchard spraying
- Slashing and weed spraying
- Managing fertigation and irrigation processes
- Checking, maintaining and troubleshooting irrigation systems
- Maintaining on farm vehicles and machinery
- General farm maintenance and physical labour tasks

The role requires a strong work ethic, physical capability, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:





- A valid manual driver’s licence (essential)
- The physical capacity to safely perform manual labour, including regular lifting of 25kg
- Experience with orchard spraying and farm machinery (preferred)
- Flexibility to work across multiple base locations
- The ability to work both independently and within a team
- Mechanical skills will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in farming is desirable but not essential.

What We Offer

Pay commencing from $35 an hour casual with higher rates negotiable based on experience, attitude and work ethic.
