About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and design-driven Associate Architect to join as the founding senior appointment in their new Sydney studio. Working closely with the Directors, you will play a key role in establishing the studio's presence, capability, and project pipeline in Sydney.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through to construction, with a focus on industrial, commercial, and complex built environments including logistics, cold storage, food processing, manufacturing, and ambient storage.

- Collaborate with clients and project managers to conceptualise, design, and deliver exceptional architectural solutions.

- Prepare detailed design documentation, including plans, elevations, and 3D models, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.

- Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance processes to ensure successful project delivery.

- Support business development through proposals, client engagement, and presentations.

- Assist in establishing the Sydney studio, including contributing to future team growth.





- Help shape the studio's design approach and presence across NSW.

What We're Looking For

- Registered Architect (NSW ARB registration highly regarded) with 8+ years of experience.

- Proven experience leading industrial and/or commercial architectural projects through all stages of design and delivery.

- Established presence and strong understanding of the Sydney market. Existing client, consultant, and industry relationships are highly regarded.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership and technical expertise.

- Excellent communication, client management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on time and within budget.

- Comfortable working in a growing studio environment and contributing to the development of systems, processes, and culture.
