Experienced Support Worker

We are looking for a reliable and caring Support Worker to join our team.

Due to the personal care needs and preferences of the participant, a male support worker is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Support clients with mobility and use of hoists or equipment.

- Assist with meals and PEG feeding.

- Administer medication as trained.

- Support clients to attend appointments, activities, and community outings.

- Monitor client wellbeing and report any concerns.

- Maintain clear records and follow company procedures.

- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and team members.

Requirements

- Previous experience in disability, aged care, or community support work.





- Comfortable providing personal care and manual handling support.

- Experience with PEG feeding and mobility equipment, or willingness to learn.

- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).

- Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willing to obtain).

- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
