Hi, this is Nagi and JB from RecipeTin Eats!

We are flat out in the test kitchen at the RTE HQ. We're busy cooking, shooting, writing and publishing new recipes to share with our amazing RecipeTin Eats readers, and managing our food bank operations (RecipeTin Meals).

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team on a full time basis for 3 months ASAP, working as both a kitchen assistant and housekeeper, to help with kitchen operations and look after the premises so the HQ team can focus on what they do best.

ABOUT RECIPETIN

Nagi owns and runs the recipe website RecipeTin Eats, and a food bank, RecipeTin Meals, which prepares and donates over 130,000 homemade meals annually to those in need.

RecipeTin Eats is one of the largest privately owned food websites in the world, visited over half a billion times annually. Nagi has over 6 million followers on social media.

We have a tight-knit team of 9 from all walks of life, from 7 different countries, and we operate under the work hard, play hard, laugh harder philosophy.

HQ, home of the RecipeTin Eats (RTE) test kitchen and shoot studio, is based in Hunters Hill and is a residential house. RecipeTin Meals (RTM) is 5 minutes away in Ryde. The RTE team mostly works from home, and come into HQ and RTM on an as-need basis as well as regular get togethers.

Nagi's adorable and energetic new puppy Jaffle has recently joined the team,



keeping us extra busy at HQ with a mix of cuddles and chaos that only a puppy can bring.

THE JOB

Your job is to support us (JB and Nagi), mostly helping to keep the HQ kitchen running smoothly and the HQ house in good order. Occasionally you'll also assist the wider team, running errands etc as required where help is needed.

Responsibilities:

Dish washing

Shopping (mainly food ingredients)

Pantry stock management

Packing, distributing, transporting leftover food

Office (residential house) cleaning, organisation, and management

Dog-relatedduties – Puppy-wrangling, supervision and cleanup, including his accidents

The following are NOT part of the role:

Cooking

Garden and pool maintenance

LOCATION, TERM and RATES

Rate: $40 - $50 per hour (based on experience), plus superannuation

Other payments: Car mileage, mobile phone allowance. Any tech and other gear required to do your job efficiently will be provided.

Location: You will mostly work at HQ (Hunters Hill) but will be on the move a lot.

Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm. Occasional extended hours past 5:30pm (paid) will be required – usually not more than 30 mins to 1 hr.

Contract term: 3 months full-time
