OSHC Educator – Part Time (Hours Negotiable)

Our Wonderful Out of School Hours (WOOSH) service, located at Chevallum State School, is looking for an amazing part-time educator to join our team!

Seeking people with:

- Previous experience working with children, including those with additional needs, and a genuine interest in child-led learning
- A fun, team-oriented attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow
- A flexible approach to working hours
- A positive outlook on life and a problem-solving, can-do mindset
- Willingness and/or readiness to step into a Responsible Person (RP) role as needed
- Ability to maintain a Child Protected environment across all aspects of the Service operations

Desired qualifications or willingness to obtain:

- An understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place learning framework, or willingness to learn
- ACECQA 1 or 2 year approved qualifications for working in OSHC (we’re happy to discuss if your qualification is ACECQA approved—e.g., nursing, outdoor rec, social work, primary/secondary teacher, etc.), or willingness to start a qualification under our guidance
- Positive Notice Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, and Asthma/Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to acquire)

We are a unique OSHC with a close connection to the school community and our own purpose-built facility—right next to Forest Glen and only 15 minutes from Maroochydore.
