A Support Worker is required to assist a gentleman with a spinal cord injury with personal care and domestic tasks in Tamworth.

About You

You are reliable with a positive work ethic and enjoy supporting people with theirday to day requirements.Preferably a non-smoker and no allergies to dogs. You are looking for long term employment within a supportive and respectful environment.

Anyone living locally with a background or genuine interest in disability supportwould be considered highly desirable within this position.

Shifts currently on offer include but are not limited to:

- 6am-8am (weekdays)
- 8:30pm-10:30pm (weekdays)
- Flexibility to cover shifts during staff absences

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Personal Care - bathing, dressing , grooming and including catheter and bowel care
- Domestic Support - Including meal preparation and light household tasks.
- Medication management
- Skin Care and Pressure Care

Mandatory Criteria

- Criminal Record Check compulsory
- Car and current UnrestrictedDrivers License

Preferred requirements

- Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided

Excellent Casual hourly rate of $43.26 Monday to Friday plus Super
