We're looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Officer who thrives in a rapid-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities and is confident taking ownership of a diverse recruitment portfolio. You'll understand that great recruitment is about far more than matching qualifications to a role.

Why Join Alzheimer's Queensland?

As part of our supportive People & Culture team, you'll enjoy:

- Salary of $120,000 per annum plus 12% Superannuation
- Salary packaging of up to $15,900 per annum
- Modern office based at Upper Mt Gravatt
- A supportive and collaborative People & Culture team
- A meaningful role where your work directly contributes to improving the lives of older Australians

About the Role

You'll manage approximately 12-20 active vacancies across community services, allied health, residential aged care and corporate support, partnering with hiring managers to coordinate the recruitment process from advertising, sourcing and screening candidates through to interviews, offers and assisting with onboarding.

At AQ,

we don't recruit simply to fill vacancies - we recruit people who will make a lasting difference in the lives of our clients, their families and our teams. We look beyond qualifications to identify people who share our values, strengthen our culture and genuinely care about the people we support.

This is a highly autonomous role where you'll take ownership of your recruitment portfolio while working as part of a supportive and collaborative People & Culture team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of 12-20 active vacancies.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates across a diverse portfolio of roles.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing expert recruitment guidance and supporting informed hiring decisions.
- Prepare engaging advertisements, proactively source candidates and build talent pipelines.
- Manage screening, interviews, reference checks and employment offers.
- Manage pre-employment compliance and onboarding.
- Identify opportunities to continually improve recruitment processes, candidate experience and hiring outcomes.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Promote Alzheimer's Queensland as an employer of choice

About You

You'll be an experienced recruiter who enjoys working at pace without compromising quality. You're highly organised,

build strong relationships and understand that every recruitment decision shapes our culture and ultimately impacts the care we provide to our clients.

Success in this role requires sound judgement, resilience, exceptional organisation and the ability to balance competing priorities while delivering a consistently high-quality recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers.

To be successful, you'll have:

- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment in a high-volume environment.
- The ability to confidently manage 12-20 concurrent vacancies.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- A genuine commitment to values-based recruitment and finding people who fit both the role and AQ's culture.
- Experience in aged care, healthcare, community services or the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded.
