- Room to lead. Step into a lead operator / supervisor role over other operators and labourers when projects need it, with pay and recognition to match.

What You'll Be Doing
- Operating 13t-25t excavators across civil, road, stormwater,
and rural property work to achieve final trim/finish grade to plan within tight tolerances.
- Reading and interpreting site plans, grade stakes and setting out the site.
- GPS excavation work
- Working independently and to spec without hand holding.
- Stepping into a lead operator / supervisory role as required - coordinating other operators, checking the quality of the work and keeping the project crew on track.
- Conducting pre-start checks and daily maintenance of the machine.
- Keeping the work site protected and compliant.
What You Bring
- Proven experience operating 13t-25t excavators for final trim / finish grading.
- Ability to work to plan and hold tight tolerances without supervision.
- Commitment to keep the job moving forward - you're in the seat working, not standing around talking.
- Confidence working solo on site and the leadership to step up and run a crew when needed.
- Relevant tickets: excavator/ other plant ticket highly regarded, White Card.
- A track record other operators and supervisors will vouch for with references.
What's In It For You
- $45-$65/hr depending on experience and capability
