About the role
Tennis Australia has recently embarked upon a business diversification strategy through the creation and commercialisation of new events and formats, often outside of Tennis. Leveraging our capabilities for event conceptualisation, production,marketingand monetisationacross a range of revenue streams, these growth projects are either fully owned by Tennis Australia or the output of a business venture with a third party. From delivering the Presidents Cup 2028 alongside the PGA Tour to launching innovative concepts such as the Padel Invitational, we're creating experiences that extend the reach of our organisation and shape the future of sport and entertainment in Australia.
The Head ofPartnership Sales,Growth Projects willbe responsible forthe overall delivery of brand sponsorships for all growth projects, delivering a full go to market strategy and achieving identified sales targets per event.
In this role you will:
Lead the commercial growth of Tennis Australia's recent events and business ventures, driving sponsorship revenue and delivering ambitious sales targets.
Develop and executeglobalgo-to-market strategies, including partnership packaging, prospect targeting, commercialnegotiationsand contract delivery.
Build and manage relationships with senior brand decision-makers,agenciesand joint venture partners to secure high-value commercial partnerships.
Collaborate across marketing, operations,hospitalityand commercial teams to integrate partners and maximise business outcomes across growth projects.
Identifynew revenue opportunities, shape innovative commercialmodelsand contribute to Tennis Australia's long-term diversification and growth strategy.
About you
To be successful in this role you willhave:
Experience selling sports sponsorshipat a global level
Experience working on major events anddriving various commercial streams
Extensive knowledge of key market drivers, industry players and latest developments within sports and entertainment partnerships
An understanding of cultural nuances across various markets within APAC
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
Preparedness to be flexiblein regard toworking hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
