Join a ground handling team at Sydney Airport as a Customer Service Officer, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting efficient cargo operations. You’ll be responsible for supporting freight acceptance and delivery coordination while ensuring all cargo is handled in accordance with aviation regulations. Responsibilities

- Process documentation at freight acceptance and delivery
- Complete livestock check sheets and process




- Assisting customers with enquiries and resolving customer complaints
- Create invoices and reconcile banking ensuring that all applicable charges are collected
- Enter freight details into system
- General administration, filing and other ad hoc duties
- Report any faults or irregularities with equipment, facilities, systems or processes to the appropriate management
- Deal with disruption and irregularities with confidence

About you

- Willing to obtain a valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Previous customer service experience within freight, logistics, cargo or aviation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
- Experience using cargo management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Dangerous Goods awareness (or willingness to obtain training, if applicable)
