The Opportunity
SEE Group havea excellent careeropportunity available foranEngineering Surveyor to join our highly professional and skilled Civil Infrastructure and Urban Development teams.Thisis afull-timerole basedpredominantly inthe Sunshine Coast area.You'llwork closely with teams acrossproject delivery to ensuretimelyandaccurateproject outcomes.
Responsibilities
Import data into system for drafting of final plans.
Update and keep current set out and or models and data.
Convert digital data, and models to GPS file.
Accurately upload andmaintaindata in survey instruments and other plant and equipment.
Monitor and track that machines have current software, and load upgrades asrequired.
Reviewand assess plans for accuracy against markings and project specifications onsite.
Plan and coordinate survey set out taking into consideration continuity of projects andutilisation of machinery and contractors.
Conduct all computer based / electronic calculations prior to arrival on site
Comply withSEE Group Integrated Management System policies and procedures.
Be positive and proactive in their approach to the coaching,mentoringand training ofrelevant staffandidentifyand develop staff within the department for the benefit of theorganisationandto meet future growth and needs of the company.
Essential Skills and Attributes
Tertiary qualification – Surveying or Spatial Science (desirable)
Current Drivers Licence
Background in Survey processes.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects andmaintainingfocus on priorities.
Demonstrated numeric accuracy and analyticalskills.
Knowledge of Engineering principles and experience in actual project delivery
Computer literacy, particularly experience working with 12D.
Ability to work unsupervised.
