As a Store Person, you will perform designated duties relating to the efficient operation and good housekeeping of a busy distribution warehouse.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Perform functions associated with receipt, handling, storage, picking, packing and despatch, in accordance with current standard operating procedures and Guidelines.
- Ensure timely attention to assigned tasks and priorities to meet routine delivery schedule and urgent delivery requirements.
- Carry out housekeeping duties as required, to ensure a clean and secure work environment.
- Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety procedures and Guidelines.
- Utilise technological applications as part of a warehouse management system or similar and operate powered mechanical handling equipment applicable to the position.
- Maintain flexibility and availability across operational rosters.
- Contribute to business efficiency by performing additional tasks aligned with team goals and supervisor direction.

Role fit:

The essential requirements for this role are:

- Understanding of or the ability to acquire knowledge of warehouse operations and pharmaceutical terminology within a wholesale distribution environment.




- Ability to work in an efficient and accurate manner with a degree of independence and within established guidelines.
- Follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and perform cohesively as a team member.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn the use of computerised warehouse management systems, as well as other warehouse technology applications.
