Griffiths Automatics the Sunshine Coasts premium transmission repairer, is seeking an experienced Mechanic or Transmission rebuilder to join the team. We operate in a state of the art facility in Caloundra West, Queensland. As a full-time Mechanic/Rebuilder, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a diverse range of vehicles to the highest standard. This is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the best transmission specialists in the business, providing an excellent opportunity to upskill in a very specialized aspect of the automotive trade.

Transmission experience is not required as we will provide full training if you desire.

What you'll be doing

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and transmission services and upgrades.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure all repairs have been completed to a high standard
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and rectify problems
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service and advice to clients
- Contribute to a safe and efficient workshop environment

What we're looking for

- Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field




- Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers
- A current driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
