Are you passionate about early childhood education and care? Chapter 1 Early Learning is seeking experienced and dedicated Child Care Educators to join our expanding team in Miranda, NSW. As a Child Care Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children aged 0-5 years.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that support children's learning and development

Ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to thrive

Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to tailor activities and support individual needs

Building strong relationships with children and their families, and communicating regularly about their child's development

Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures

Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field (e.g. Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services)

We welcome candidates at any qualification level and provide opportunities for career development

Additionally we have positions for candidates looking to complete a certificate III traineeship with Chapter 1.

Extensive experience working as a Child Care Educator in a long day care or preschool setting

Candidates with less than one year of experience are encouraged to apply





Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best outcomes for children

Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications

First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications are preferred but we offer flexibility for the right candidate
