Today, the organisation is entering an exciting new phase. Under a renewed executive team, Isis is strengthening its leadership capability, modernising systems and processes, and evolving its operating model to support long-term sustainability, improved collaboration and future growth. This includes enhancing corporate services, investing in new business systems and technology, and creating stronger partnerships between support functions and the broader business.

As part of this evolution, Isis is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join its Operations leadership team based in Childers. This newly created position offers the opportunity to shape the future of the organisation's maintenance function while contributing to the long-term performance and reliability of one of Queensland's most established regional manufacturers.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager Milling, the Maintenance Manager will play an important role in the continued development of the organisation's maintenance capability.

You'll lead a multidisciplinary team of approximately 60 mechanical and electrical maintenance personnel, providing leadership across maintenance planning, asset reliability, shutdowns, safety and continuous improvement.

This is far more than a traditional maintenance management role. As Isis continues to strengthen its systems, processes and operational capability, you'll partner with leaders across the business to improve asset management maturity,



strengthen maintenance planning and support the implementation of new maintenance and business systems that enhance reliability, efficiency and organisational performance.

Working closely with the General Manager Milling and operational leaders, you'll help shape a maintenance function that is increasingly focused on proactive asset management, continuous improvement and collaborative problem solving. You'll also play a key role in strengthening safety culture by providing visible leadership, building capability and fostering accountability across the maintenance team.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading mechanical and electrical maintenance teams across the mill.
- Driving a proactive safety culture and visible leadership across site.
- Improving asset management, maintenance planning and equipment reliability.
- Supporting the implementation of new maintenance and business systems.
- Developing team capability through coaching, mentoring and leadership.
- Building strong partnerships across Operations to improve plant performance.
- Contributing to broader organisational improvement initiatives.

About you

You are an experienced maintenance professional, likely from a trade background and with a genuine passion for developing people,



improving systems and driving operational performance.

This opportunity is likely to appeal to an established Maintenance Manager or an emerging maintenance leader looking to step into a broader leadership role.

Beyond your technical capability, you're collaborative, pragmatic and people-focused. You enjoy building relationships across operations, leading teams through positive change and creating practical solutions that improve reliability, safety and business performance.

You're comfortable operating in a changing environment and motivated by the opportunity to help shape how maintenance supports the organisation into the future.

Experience within manufacturing, food processing, agriculture, utilities, mining or other asset-intensive processing environments will be well regarded. Experience with steam generation, boilers or similar processing plant will be highly regarded, however candidates from comparable industrial environments are encouraged to apply.
