Want a WHS role where people actually listen to your advice?
We're looking for a practical, relationship-focused WHS Advisor who enjoys being out on site, building rapport with operational teams and helping create safer workplaces.
This isn't a desk-bound compliance role.
You'll spend your time partnering with leaders, coaching teams, identifying risks before they become incidents and helping shape a positive safety culture across two well-established NSW sites.
Working alongside an experienced National Safety Manager, you'll have the support, autonomy and opportunity to genuinely influence how safety is embedded throughout the business.
What's on Offer?
- $100,000 + Super
- Company phone and laptop provided
- Travel expenses reimbursed between sites
- Work across two locations - Smithfield and Banksmeadow
- Supportive leadership with opportunities for growth and career development
- A positive team environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation
About the Role
As the WHS Advisor, you'll work closely with leaders and employees to ensure a protected, compliant and proactive working environment. You'll provide practical advice, coach stakeholders and help drive a positive safety culture across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and improving WHS management systems
- Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, policies and procedures
- Conducting workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
- Undertaking site-based risk management activities
- Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across safety processes
- Delivering safety training, inductions and toolbox talks
- Managing training records and competency requirements
- Supporting operational leaders with day-to-day WHS advice
- Assisting with return-to-work and injury management initiatives where required
- Promoting employee engagement and a proactive approach to workplace safety
About You
You're someone who enjoys working with people just as much as policies.
You know that the best safety outcomes come from building trust on site—not sitting behind a desk.
You'll bring:
- Previous WHS Advisor experience
- Certificate IV in WHS (or currently completing)
- Strong operational safety knowledge
- Confidence coaching frontline teams
- Practical approach to risk management
- Ability to influence without creating conflict
- Current Driver's Licence
Why You'll Love This Role
- Supportive National Safety Manager who'll mentor rather than micromanage
- Majority of your time spent with operational teams—not buried in paperwork
- Genuine opportunity to influence safety culture
- Stable, growing transport business
- Career progression as the business continues to expand
If you're looking for a role where your ideas are valued, your development is encouraged, and you can make a genuine difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
