Workforce International is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our client in an ongoing opportunity.

If you're a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Plant Mechanic who enjoys working on a variety of heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

Based in a well-equipped workshop, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of heavy equipment to ensure it remains safe, reliable, and ready for operation.

Your Responsibilities

- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on diesel-powered equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Complete inspections and identify potential issues before they become major repairs.
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Work closely with the workshop team to minimise equipment downtime.

To Be Successful You Will Have

- Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or equivalent.
- Experience maintaining heavy diesel equipment, mobile plant,



construction equipment, agricultural machinery, or heavy vehicles.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
- Current driver's licence.
- HR licence (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Solid commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
