About the role

This position reports into the Store Manager and is based at our Betta Store in Underwood. You will demonstrate excellent customer service, and a sound product knowledge. Ensure visual merchandising and housekeeping are meeting defined standards so the area of responsibility contributes to the store's overall appearance

Key responsibilities

- Contribute to store sales budgets
- Customer sales negotiation
- Follow up on customer orders
- Offer technical advice to customers
- Assist with customer collections from store
- Ensure that appliances, furniture and bedding are displayed in the most effective way for customers
- Monitor stock levels and labelling and initiate ordering if required
- Implement sales and promotional programs
- Ensure security of all stock and the store
- Follow up incomplete sales report
- Support and follow the store OH&S; standards and emergency procedures

Experience

- Retail experience, preferable in electrical and/or furniture
- Record of achieving or excelling of budgets and target
