We're on the hunt for an energetic, hands-on Venue Manager to lead our Manly venue. This is your opportunity to take the reins of a well-loved venue, build on its strong reputation and help shape its next chapter.

Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, our 140-seat Brewpub is fast-paced, community-focused and full of character. You'll be a visible leader who loves being on the floor, thrives in a busy environment and knows how to get the best out of your team.

As a successful candidate…

You’re a lover of all things hospitality, culture and people.

You have a desire to be hands on and operational in venue - this isn’t a desk job. Although there are aspects of the role that require alignment and understanding for strategic goals and direction and administrative work, this is an old-fashioned hospitality role, ensconced in the local community.

The Role:

Management of venue; including (but not limited to) cost control, labour management, P&Ls;, marketing insight and activations, KPIs/targets.

Driving the venue with a lot of headroom for maximisation.

Instill and foster the 4 Pines core values and personality traits within the team.

Liaising with kitchen to ensure consistent quality and presentation of meals.

Continued improvement of the customer experience.





Hands-on and operational role working alongside a close-knit team of staff to develop, train and upskill.

Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, council regulations, food safety, WHS and other relevant legislative instruments.

Approved Manager (Liquor License).

Face of the venue and brand ambassador.

You:

- Must have a deep, fundamental understanding and love for hospitality, people culture and a clear vision of how to evolve this in the future.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and train a team of staff.
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work autonomously with direction and guidance from HQ.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Genuine desire to build a connection with the local community.
- At least 2 years of previous venue and people management experience.
- Friendly, positive and approachable attitude.
- Current NSW RSA.
- Must have unrestricted Australian working rights.
