Adapt Modular Homes is a subsidiary of Campbell Construction Co, a multi-faceted building company specialising in new homes, renovations, modular housing and insurance repairs across Queensland and beyond. With over 20 years of industry experience, we combine strong construction expertise with innovative building methods to deliver high-quality homes for our clients.

This role is on a casual basis with the potential to transition into permanent ongoing work.

The role:

Based out of our Chevallum factory, you will:

- Fabricate, assemble and weld steel frames and structural components for prefabricated, transportable modular homes
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols and specifications to bring designs to life
- Cut, shape and prepare steel using guillotines, saws, grinders and plasma cutters
- Perform MIG/TIG/stick welding in line with Australian Standards and project specifications
- Work within production line timeframes to help meet daily and weekly build schedules
- Conduct quality checks on welds and completed frames, and follow documented QC processes
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area

About you:





We're looking for a trade-qualified boilermaker who:

- Holds a Cert III in Engineering (Fabrication) and current welding tickets/licences relevant to structural steel work
- Has a minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in residential, modular or prefabricated construction
- Holds a valid driver's licence and White Card
- Takes pride in delivering quality workmanship with strong attention to detail
- Brings a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills
- Enjoys working as part of a team and helping guide junior team members
