Ward Civil & Environmental Engineering (Ward) is a leading Tier 2, multi-faceted civil and environmental engineering contractor with a history of over 50 years. Ward is an employer of 160 staff with offices in Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane. Projects undertaken by Ward can range up to $150M, including road works, bulk earthworks, mining and renewable projects, remediation and utility installation.
The role will include:
- Estimating across a diverse range of sectors
- Project programming & analysis of the tender documentation
- Supervision and development of support staff including engineering assistants
To succeed in this role,
you will require:
- 8+ years’ experience in the Civil Construction industry in estimating
- Demonstrated experience with DTMR specifications and schedules
- Experience with the development of methodologies and tender programs
- Experience preparing subcontractor and supply RFQ packages
- Exposure to Microsoft Project and/or P6 Primavera is desirable
- Ability to work autonomously with the small project team in QLD
