Production Assistant - Winery, Brewery & Distillery
Located in the heart of Pokolbin, Hope Estate is home to a multi-award winning Brewery, an established Winery and recently opened Distillery. Additional facets of the business include Concerts, Functions, Events & Festivals.
We are presently seeking an enthusiastic & energetic production all-rounder who can also assist with product deliveries to work as part of our team.
This is ahands-on role with a variety of tasksin a agile working environment where flexibility,a can-do attitude and work ethic are essential.
In this role you will assist the production team in the preparation and packaging of our products. You will also assist in delivering the finished product to our customers. This is a full-time role Monday-Friday with the occasional weekend for events.
Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Working on the canning and bottling lines
- Assisting with upkeep of the venue's parks and gardens
- Setting up for concerts and events
The right candidatemust possess the following:
- Be flexible with their availability
- Willing to work extended hours at short notice
- Be physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- A fork lift licence (desirable but not essential)
- Be able to work under pressure
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation
- Take pride in their work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport (company vehicles supplied for deliveries)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
