Our client is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join their recycling scrap metal yard in West Burleigh. This role is suitable for an experienced Forklift Operator who is seeking Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 2:00PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to move scrap metal bins
- Transport bins to and from the weigh scales
- Accurately communicate weights to the admin team
- Assist customers during drop-off in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and safe yard environment
- Support general yard duties as required
What We're Looking For
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Experience operating a counterbalance forklift
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently in a yard environment
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical
