HGR Haulage is seeking experienced HR/HC Drivers to join our growing team on a full time basis. Based in Prospect, NSW 2148.

We are looking for a great communicator with a can do attitude

The HR driving role is hands on multi drops for a major mattress brand

The HC driving role is both metro and regional deliveries utilising either refrigerated pantechs or tautliner trailers

Overtime and weekend work is available

Key responsibilities

- Operate our vehicles in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working order
- Maintain accurate logbooks (EWD) and documentation, including delivery dockets, timesheets, and vehicle maintenance records
- Load and unload cargo safely, securing loads appropriately to prevent damage and ensure road safety
- Adhere to fatigue management regulations and work hour limitations
- Report vehicle defects, maintenance issues, and any incidents promptly to management
- Maintain a clean and qualified appearance and conduct yourself in accordance with company standards





What we're looking for

Current and valid HR, HC, driver's licence appropriate to the role requirements

Minimum 2+ years' experience driving heavy vehicles in the Sydney Metro area

Good driving record

Robust communication skills to work effectively with customers

Ability to work independently

Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work with a strong work ethic

Demonstrated ability to conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and report issues accurately

Be able to pass onsite Drug & Alcohol testing
