Rivsteel Pty Ltd is a long-established supplier of custom-built trailers and sheds for farmers, transporters, tradies and handymen.

WELDER POSITION

The company is seeking a qualified and experienced Welder to join its trailer manufacturing and fabrication team.

Salary: $81,120 per annum plus superannuation

Position is full-time

Based in a up-to-date manufacturing environment, this role involves the fabrication, assembly and repair of a wide range of trailers including tradesman, enclosed, car carrier, hydraulic tipper, flat-top, plant and custom-built trailers.

Main Duties

- Perform MIG, TIG and arc welding of steel trailer chassis, frames and components.
- Fabricate, assemble and repair trailer bodies and structural steel components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and fabrication plans.
- Cut, shape, fit and weld steel sections and plate to required standards.




- Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications and safety requirements.
- Maintain welding equipment and comply with workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

- Trade Certificate III in Welding
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Sound knowledge of welding, fabrication and metalworking techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years' relevant post-qualification experience as a Welder.
