With a high performing HR division that values and supports payroll, they are keen to drive automation and integration across their Payroll & HR Systems.

They are highly organised with comprehensive, detailed process documentation. They are looking for a tenured payroll expert who can add value in a dedicated and agile HR Services function.

The Role

- Manage fortnightly payroll process in collaboration with Employment Hero
- Controlling payroll to execution of EFT utilising Keypay
- Payroll Variance Analysis including commentary around differences including gross income, taxes, leave and super
- Resolution of gaps and variances
- Maintain and update process documentation
- Expeditious resolution of payroll queries
- Conduct real time audits and payroll compliance reviews
- Optimise payroll reporting and analytics
- Work on integrations between Oracle HCM and Keypay





This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Payroll Officer who is looking to elevate their career. The role will be working with a Senior Payroll Manager, who will mentor you to take over their role in 2027, hiring your own successor!

In addition, to this structured succession plan, the Performance and Reward team also cover for payroll when you are on leave. They have a trusted, inclusive culture in the HR & Payroll team, with strong working relationships.

You will be a tenured Senior Payroll Specialist with exposure to a high-performance workplace in a large, complex organisation. Experience of working with Employment Hero as a payroll provider or Oracle HCM would be advantageous.

Initial remuneration would be $120 - $130K plus super plus bonus, with a substantive increase once you step into the Senior PM role.

The organisation has a flexible hybrid working model, with 2 days wfh entrenched. Thursday is their anchor day.
