6-Month Contract - To start late August, beginning September
An Australian manufacturer with more than 25 years of history makes the drinking fountains, bottle refill stations and street furniture you see in schools, parks and public spaces across the country. Their products are built to last generations, their customers are loyal, and their marketing is genuinely active: publications, EDMs, social media, school promotions and trade events, all running to established calendars and systems.
This is a six month maternity leave contract running the marketing function. You will have a full month of handover with her before she goes and a month together when she returns. In between, you run the engine: guiding a talented offsite designer, hitting publication deadlines, sending the monthly newsletters, executing the social calendars and coordinating events. You will also lay the branding and content foundations for a brand-recent website build, working directly with the General Manager and the digital agency. The strategy is set. Your job is to keep a well-oiled machine running beautifully.

Responsibilities
- Guide and brief the offsite designer on daily content and campaigns
- Write articles, advertorials and ads for publication deadlines
- Produce the monthly EDM newsletter in Mailchimp, sent on the 28th
- Manage social calendars across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram
- Run the term four schools promo and prepare the term two campaign
- Liaise with the web agency on updates, Google Ads and Analytics
- Check daily that website enquiries have reached the sales teamCoordinate trade show logistics, collateral, stock and follow-up
- Lay the branding and content foundations for the new website
- Update brochures, spec sheets and product documentation as needed
- Pull social and Mailchimp reports and review results with the GM
About You
- A marketing all-rounder whose strengths sit squarely in marketing
- Strong writer and editor who protects a brand’s voice and quality
- Organised with deadlines: publications wait for no one
- Confident giving clear briefs and feedback to a remote designer
- Comfortable picking up established systems and running with them
- Product marketing experience, not just services or agencies
Essential Skills
- Proven end-to-end marketing coordination or specialist experience
- Hands-on Mailchimp EDM experience, including coded EDM builds
- Confident across Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Experience updating website content in WordPress and Elementor
- Social scheduling via Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn
- Able to pull reports from GA4, Mailchimp and social platforms
- HubSpot CRM and M1 ERP exposure an advantage, not essential
- Available for a six-month contract from early September
