Your Role
This is a senior position and reports to the Executive General Manager, Assets. You may come from Technical Leadership or Crane Operating background, and you’ll lead a small Engineering Team, working closely with Operations, Heavy Lifting and Customer Service to oversee outcomes. Typical duties;

- Develop lift studies, rigging plans and engineered lifting methodologies
- Manage complex crane and heavy lifting projects from planning through execution
- Review drawings, load calculations and engineering documentation
- Provide technical leadership in risk assessment,



lift planning and safety compliance
- Advise clients on crane selection and engineered lifting solutions
- Lead, mentor and develop the Engineering team
- Support tendering, estimating and commercial pricing activities
- Partner with site teams to deliver secure, efficient project outcomes
- Respond to critical project issues with sound technical judgement and urgency

This position is based on-site, in Adelaide and has a desirable career trajectory as the business continues to expand. Remuneration is competitive and relocation support may be available.

About You

- Extensive experience in Crane Hire, Heavy Lifting or Height Safety Engineering
- Proven expertise in critical lift studies, engineered lift plans and complex project delivery
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, WHS legislation and engineering compliance
- Demonstrated leadership, commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Structural or Civil Engineering (or related discipline) with a current Australian Driver's Licence
