We are a growing NSW practice with offices in Sydney CBD and Sutherland, and a strong pipeline of work across criminal, family, wills & estates, general and international matters.

We are looking for a lawyer who can step into active files, take ownership from day one, with flexible hybrid working built into the role.

This role suits someone who wants real responsibility, court exposure, and the opportunity to develop across multiple areas of law, including family law.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work across a live file load, including:

- Criminal & traffic matters
- Family law (including ADVO-related matters)
- Firearms licensing matters
- General practice matters
- International Disputes

DAY-TO-DAY:

- Court appearances (primarily Local Court)
- Client conferences and advice
- Drafting and case preparation




- Managing competing priorities across practice areas

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT

IDEAL CANDIDATE

- 1-4 years PAE (flexible for the right person)
- Solid practical experience
- Comfortable appearing in the Local Court
- Able to manage files with limited supervision
- Willing to work across multiple areas of law
- Organised and responsive

You don't need to know everything. You need to be able to learn quickly and execute.

BONUS

- Family law experience (strongly preferred)
