Part Time Weighbridge Operator - Immediate Start

About the Role Weighbridge operators are responsible for implementing Rock & Dirt's weighbridge procedures on-site, helping to ensure that time, cost, quality, and safety objectives are consistently met.

What You'll Be Doing

- Data entry into Service Pro
- Answering phone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate department
- General day-to-day office tasks, including scanning and filing documents
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail/emails
- Sending dockets and weighbridge reports
- Handling sales enquiries, general sales, and deliveries
- Cleaning the weighbridge and surrounding areas, upholding our clean office policy
- Checking all incoming loads are charged correctly
- Checking and rejecting customer loads that don't meet Rock & Dirt standards
- Communicating with the on-site team to ensure procedures are followed





What We're Looking For

- Customer service experience
- Good, clear phone manner
- Computer skills - proficiency in Office suite essential
- Ability to learn new computer programs
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Cash handling and EFTPOS experience
- Knowledge of products and materials
- Weighbridge experience or familiarity with truck types is highly regarded
- Understanding of and adherence to EPA regulations
- High ethical standards and commitment to a strong workplace culture
- Resilience and the ability to lead by personal example
- Trustworthy and reliable, with a strong sense of integrity
