We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrician to join our Projects division, working on specialist earthing and lightning protection projects.

About the Role

This is an initial three-month contract with genuine potential for extension as our project pipeline continues to grow.

The position operates on a flexible FIFO roster, with Brisbane as the point of hire. You will take responsibility for completing site activities safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This role will suit a capable electrician who enjoys working autonomously,



solving practical problems and contributing as part of a small, supportive project team.

Your responsibilities

- Installing earthing and bonding systems

- Installing lightning protection systems

- Assisting with earth testing, verification and commissioning

- Working alongside PPI’s electrical engineers and project personnel

- Interpreting drawings, specifications and project requirements

- Completing site documentation, quality records and progress reports

- Supporting the project team to achieve safe and successful outcomes

- Identifying potential scope improvements and communicating them to the project team

- Maintaining PPI’s high standards of safety, workmanship and client service

What you’ll bring

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:

- Current unrestricted electrical work licence

- Electrical trade qualification

- At least five years of post-trade electrical experience

- Experience in civil electrical works, earthing or lightning protection

- Standard 11 qualification

- Current Coal Mine Workers’ Health Scheme medical

- Current unrestricted C Class driver’s licence

- High Risk Work licence – EWP

- Strong safety awareness and commitment to quality workmanship

- Ability to work autonomously and within a small project team

- Good communication, planning and problem-solving skills

- Unrestricted Australian working rights

- Excavator and skid-steer tickets will be highly regarded.
