About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Program Coordinator (APS6) to support a national mental health service delivering critical programs to veterans and their families.
This role plays a key part in coordinating outreach providers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accessible mental health services across Australia. You will work within a collaborative clinical environment, supporting service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and continuous program improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage outreach program providers, including clinicians and facilitators
- Act as the primary liaison point, providing guidance, onboarding, and ongoing support
- Monitor provider performance against quality and safety frameworks
- Manage referrals, stakeholder relationships, and program communications
- Respond to and resolve provider or client concerns and complaints
- Support delivery of group programs, workshops, and community engagement initiatives
- Maintain accurate provider records and support operational reporting
- Contribute to evaluation, continuous improvement, and service development initiatives
About You
You are a confident and adaptable professional with robust stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complex service environments.
You will demonstrate:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound judgement and problem-solving capability
- Experience coordinating programs or service delivery in a clinical or community setting
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
You must meet one of the following:
- Registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Nurse (AHPRA)
- Qualified Counsellor with ACA Level 4 registration
Additional requirements:
- Working with Children / Vulnerable People clearance
- Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
