Our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter, at their North Rocks Industrial Laundry to join the maintenance team.
You will be required to provide mechanical/electrical maintenance support and ensure the laundry operational facilities and machinery function are to their maximum efficiency with minimal disruption in output. This includes:
- Completing preventative maintenance services to all laundry equipment, including industrial washers, dryers, boilers, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
- Assisting in the configuration and installation of new machinery;
- Maintaining our materials, products and services

Duties
- Repair, service and reactive maintenance of our commercial laundry equipment
- Fault finding and troubleshooting ensuring all faults are fixed and quickly resolved
- Preventative maintenance of our commercial laundry equipment
- Support and work with production team to minimise machine downtime
- Work with maintenance team members to project management of new installations or business improvement projects
- Dedicated to maintaining and promoting safe work practices.
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Proactive approach with enthusiasm to acquire new skills
- Great communication skills able to effectively build strong working relationships at all levels.
- Is self-motivated, takes pride in their work and prioritises the safety of themselves and others always.
