About the Role
As an Educator, you will work closely with Senior Educators and the Educational Leader in your centre.
You will help create fun, meaningful, and inclusive learning experiences that support children’s learning, creativity, wellbeing, and development.
As an Educator, you will:
- Support children’s learning, creativity, wellbeing, and development
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Help create a safe, caring, and engaging environment
- Support learning programs guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Assist with observations, programming, and documentation
- Work with other educators to create play-based learning experiences
- Support children’s emotional wellbeing and development
- Talk with families about children’s learning and progress
- Take part in centre events and family activities
- Follow child-safe practices and professional behaviour at all times
- Report any child safety concerns quickly and appropriately
- Help create a culture of safety, respect, and teamwork
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
- A genuine passion for working with children
- A warm, caring, and positive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Confidence contributing to programming and documentation
- An interest in creativity, the arts, and play-based learning
- Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
- A commitment to child safety and inclusive practices
- A current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
Highly Desirable
- Experience working in early childhood education
- Confidence supporting children’s emotional wellbeing
- Experience contributing to programming and reflective practice
- An interest in nature play and creative learning experiences
