We are seeking an experienced, motivated and organized individual, to join our NSW Site Service team and to support the sales team selling the HMA Wear Solutions products across the mining and industrial industries in Australia, New Zealand, PNG, Indonesia, South Africa and South America. We are recognised as a market leader in this field and have been supplying and manufacturing specialised ceramic wear resistant linings and systems in Australia for over 40 years
THE ROLE
Based in our Singleton, NSW office and reporting to the NSW Site Service Manager the key objectives of this position will be to assist the Site Service Manager in supportingthe monitoring of key HMA equipment installed and operating in process plants throughout the Hunter Region and Western NSW regions.
Whilst experience and studies relating to the analysis and assessment of equipment, would be beneficial, the underlying requirement of this position, is the ability to learn about the equipment HMA service, and implement our procedures of condition assessment, analysis, and reporting. This is a position for somebody who desires increased challenge, responsibility and the opportunity to make the role their own.
You should have a sound Mechanical aptitude and be confident in undertaking the following tasks;
Undertake preparation tasks to mobilise to site, for the purpose of equipment condition monitoring analysis. Includes preparation of technical drawings, Scopes of Works, and readying Condition Monitoring Equipment for transport.
Undertaking "On Site" inspections of Pipes, Chutes, Bins and other various processing equipment. This includes the operation of Pipe Scan Cameras and subsequent assessment equipment.
In office analysis of video and photographic evidence, and the generation of reports from the onsite data collected.
Collaboration of reports with the HMA Technical Sales Team
Maintenance and upkeep of Condition Monitoring Electronic Filing systems.
Maintenance and upkeep of Condition Monitoring Equipment.
Support the Site Services Maintenance Crew as required on shut down works.
To be successful candidates will have the following skills and attributes;
Relevant experience in condition monitoring, or experience with mechanical installations is desirable
A dedicated commitment to work safely and follow all safe work procedures.
Ability to pass Coal Board Order 45 Medical, and other Mandatory compliances, for mine site approvals.
Ability to learn technical operations and equipment,
related to Coal Preparation Plants, and implement this knowledge into the Condition Monitoring Role.
Sound Computer skills, and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications - Outlook, Excel and Word, are essential.
Ability to write and interpret technical reports.
Ability to work in a team environment, with the flexibility to adapt to ever changing work scopes.
Availability to work on sites throughout the Hunter Valley and Western NSW regions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret drawings for the purposes of identifying and monitoring Wear performance of our products is essential
Strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with the sales team and customers alike
Ample initiative and strong problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Mechanical Trade, Engineering Certificate or Technical Experience relevant to engineering disciplines is desirable
Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
