Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Based at our Hobart site, this hands‑on role is responsible for the protected movement and coordination of freight across the depot.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Safely loading and unloading vehicles and trailers
- Scanning, sorting and reconfiguring freight as required
- Re-palletising and preparing freight for shipping and linehaul movements
- Ensuring accurate and timely freight distribution
- Working to operational deadlines and following site procedures
- Identifying and reporting damaged freight in line with process
- Applying safe load restraint practices, including correct use of straps and equipment
- Maintaining strict adherence to safety and compliance standards

This is a fast‑paced operational environment where accuracy, teamwork and a strong safety mindset are essential.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- A current and valid Forklift Licence (mandatory)
- Experience in a freight, logistics or transport setting (highly regarded)
- A proactive approach to workplace safety
- The ability to follow instructions and established processes
- Confidence working independently and within a team
- Full working rights in Australia
