We are seeking experienced casual riggers only for general mobile crane hire work across Brisbane (within 50km of home) and ongoing work up and down the coast.
This role suits reliable, safety-focused riggers looking for steady casual work, strong rates, and consistent opportunities with a well-established crane hire business.
- General mobile crane hire rigging & dogging
- Predominantly rigging (this is not an operator role)
- Work on existing construction and industrial job sites
- Local Brisbane sites + regular coastal work
- Monday-Friday, 6am-5pm
- Some night and weekend shifts available (penalty rates apply)
- Occasional operation of equipment only if qualified, including:
- EWPs
- Forklifts / telehandlers
- Mini cranes & general equipment
- Some steel rigging work available (if qualified - own tools preferred)
This is not a junior or trainee position. Please apply only if you have proven experience in general mobile crane hire rigging.
Pay & conditions
- $45-$48 per hour (casual) depending on experience
- Approx. 25 hours per week, with opportunity for more
- Overtime and penalty rates
- $35 per day travel allowance
- $2 per day phone allowance
- Long-term casual work available for the right people
Essential requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience rigging for general mobile crane hire
- Basic Rigger (RB) qualification (minimum requirement)
- Intermediate (RI) or Advanced (RA) Rigger - desirable
- White Construction Induction Card
- Current manual driver's licence
- Strong safety focus and ability to follow site procedures
- Reliable, punctual, skilled and presentable
- Good communication skills
