An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Quarry Manager (SSE) to lead a well-established quarry operation located just outside Bundaberg. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for site safety, operational performance, compliance and team leadership across two quarry operations.

About the Role
As the Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the operation while fostering a strong safety culture and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS requirements.
- Lead, mentor and develop employees and contractors through visible, hands-on leadership (20 FTE on site).
- Manage daily production across the site to achieve safety, quality and production targets.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental and licensing obligations.
- Develop and manage operational budgets with a strong focus on productivity and cost control.
- Contribute to capital projects, maintenance planning and long-term operational strategy.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and the local community.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across safety, production and operational performance.
About You
To be successful, you will ideally possess:
- Current Site Senior Executive (SSE) certification or an equivalent transferable qualification.
- Proven leadership experience within quarrying, mining, heavy industry or civil construction.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and operational teams.
- Robust commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and improving operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
