Johnson Refinishing Pty Ltd – Noosaville QLD

We are seeking experienced Labourers / 2 Pac Spray Paintersto join our team at Johnson Refinishing in Noosaville. This is a great opportunity for long term employment with a family owned business, focused on achieving outstanding results for our clients.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

- Responsible for handling and preparing components for painting
- Priming and painting of various surfaces using a range of techniques including 2 Pac spraying
- Apply paints according to job specifications
- Mixing and applying of paints and other materials according to their technical data sheets
- Carrying out general labouring duties such as loading/unloading materials and masking/labelling
- General housekeeping duties in workshop when required

To be successful in this role you will be expected to have:

- Experience in using various hand tools and sanders
- Safe handling of solvents and paints
- Proven ability to work safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a positive, can-do attitude
- Be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects




- Sound knowledge of safe working practices and procedures in a workshop workplace

Preffered but not essential:

- Previous experience as a Labourer or 2 Pac Spray Painter within the trades and services industry
- Demonstrated experience in the field of cabinetry surface preparation and spray painting

Details:

Full time position

Hours are 6.30am – 3.00pm Monday to Thursday and 6.30am – 12.30pm Friday
