Brisbane based food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Accounts and Administration Manager to join our team on a full-time basis at our Eagle Farm, Queensland location. Reporting to the General Manager and the global Head of Corporate Finance, this is a pivotal position that combines financial accounting expertise with administrative leadership, playing a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations and supporting the smooth running of our business. You will be responsible for overseeing accounts management and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, and providing essential support to senior management and operational teams across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

- Managing and overseeing all accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment scheduling and reconciliation
- Preparing and maintaining financial records, ledgers and supporting documentation in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
- Conducting regular account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Coordinating the preparation of financial reports and statements for management review and external stakeholder reporting
- Processing payroll information, timesheets and employee-related financial records whilst maintaining confidentiality
- Managing administrative operations including scheduling, correspondence, records management and general office coordination
- Liaising with external parties including accountants, auditors and financial institutions to support financial compliance and reporting requirements




- Supervising and mentoring administrative staff, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to financial and administrative procedures
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing systems to enhance operational efficiency
- Maintaining accurate filing systems and ensuring proper documentation retention in accordance with legislative requirements

What we’re looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA, CA ANZ, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ progressive experience in finance and accounting, preferably within the chemical, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
- Solid knowledge of Australian taxation, financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and managing transfer pricing documentation, including Local File requirements.
- Proven experience managing banking relationships, cash flow, debt facilities, and financial instruments.
- Advanced financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering skills.
- High proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft 365.
- Experience leading audits and liaising with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.





Highly regarded

- Experience in import/export accounting and foreign currency transactions.
- Knowledge of inventory valuation and standard costing in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Australian transfer pricing obligations for international related-party transactions.
- Exposure to food manufacturing, ingredients, or FMCG industries would be highly regarded.
