Are you the type of Practice Manager who enjoys more than simply keeping the wheels turning?

We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure, accountability and momentum to a busy practice - someone who isn't afraid to respectfully keep projects moving, improve processes and help a business operate more effectively.

Our client is a well-established and respected professional services firm seeking a motivated and hands-on Practice Manager. This could suit someone already in a Practice Manager role or an up-and-coming practice professional ready to take the next step in their career.

This role would particularly suit someone coming from a smaller accounting practice who understands that while leadership and process improvement are important, being willing to jump in and help wherever needed is equally valued.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and mentoring the Administration team while working closely with the firm's Accountants to ensure the practice operates efficiently
- Acting as the central point of coordination across the practice
- Working closely with the Directors to improve operational efficiency
- Reviewing and improving practice processes and procedures
- Driving projects and implementing practice improvements




- Supporting workflow management across the practice
- Monitoring WIP and debtors reporting
- Assisting with HR administration, recruitment and staff development
- Supporting compliance, policies and operational best practice
- Providing hands-on support across the administration function when required

To be successful you will ideally have:

- Previous experience as a Practice Manager within a public practice accounting firm is preferred
- Alternatively, experience in a Senior Practice Administration role with the confidence and capability to step into your first Practice Manager position
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Experience improving systems, workflows and business processes
- Excellent organisational and project coordination skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Confidence building relationships and influencing stakeholders
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach
