We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Panel Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

About the Role

As a Fire Panel Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, fault finding, repair, and commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems across a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial sites throughout the Sydney metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled inspections, testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems and fire indicator panels.
- Diagnose and rectify faults on a wide range of fire detection systems.
- Program, commission, and assist with the installation of new fire alarm systems when required.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards, the National Construction Code,



and applicable legislation.
- Complete service reports, compliance documentation, and maintenance records accurately and promptly.
- Provide clients with professional advice on the operation, maintenance, and compliance of their fire protection systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Work safely and professionally in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems and fire indicator panels.
- Strong technical knowledge of fire detection equipment, including testing, fault finding, programming, and commissioning.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- A robust understanding of Australian Standards relating to fire detection systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
- A current Australian driver's licence.
- Australian citizenship or unrestricted Australian working rights.
- A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
