As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Civil Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing detailed drawings, plans, and designs for a variety of civil engineering projects and your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. Please note that a permanent, full‑time position is also available for this role at our North Lakes office.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed civil drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Interpret technical specifications, survey data and engineering designs.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback or changes in project scope.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes and regulations.
- Maintain project documentation and drawing archives.
About You
- Proven experience as a Civil Draftsperson or similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD / Civil 3D / Revit.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications in drafting, civil engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in transport projects, environmental projects, water and wastewater infrastructure, site preparation, geotechnical works, hydraulics will be highly regarded
