Due to significant growth in QLD, we're seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead our drilling operations at Centurion Coal Mine. With 3 rigs now operating 24/7, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery - from safety and production through to client relationships and team leadership.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with the development of detailed plans, resource schedules, and timelines in alignment with client and business requirements.
- Provide leadership and direction to Site Supervisors and project personnel.
- Promote a positive, performance-driven culture aligned with company values.
- Ensure WHS standards are maintained across all projects, being accountable for complying with WHS site and legislation requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attend client meetings, provide progress updates, and address issues proactively.
- Foster strong, long-term relationships through consistent communication and delivery performance.
- Oversee project paperwork and ensure timely submission of required documentation including site audits, stock control.
What we're looking for:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in project supervision or management
- Solid understanding of the UIS drilling processes or underground coal mining operations through previous experience with UIS drilling operations.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain strong relationships and networks on site.
- Excellent written and oral communication and reporting skills with the ability to professionally and effectively negotiate as a representative of the company.
- Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety - BSB41419
- Previous experience in meeting contractual obligations, including meeting production targets and tasks.
